Michael Lewis McCaleb, Jr., 43 of Mississippi/Illinois. Loving father of Aidan Lewis and Nathan “Nate” Michael McCaleb. Beloved son of Michael Lewis McCaleb, Sr. (Donna Mary) and Sarah Sanders Gibbs (Daniel). Dearest brother of Hope (Craig) Sawyer, George “William” (Jennifer), Albert “Grant”, Daniel McCaleb, Mary Lynn Ritter and Zachary Ritter. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Michael was a devoted father who absolutely adored his children. In addition to being a skilled outdoorsman and wonderful cook, Michael's talents and creativity knew no bounds - he could build anything with wood and just an idea in his head. A friend and neighbor to everyone, there was nothing he wouldn't do or give to be there for someone in need. His kind heart will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him.
Memorial Visitation Saturday, May 21, 1-4 PM, with a memorial service at 3:00 PM at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison (2 Mi. W. of Rt. 83, 2 Mi. E. of Rt. 53). Interment private.
